The wait is over, and I am excited to find my very own forever home!  My name is Capone and was was picked up by animal control, my owners never came for me, but SMRS did!  I have received all my doggie health care including surgery to correct my Cherry eye and I am ready to review applications for my forever home where I will be loved and cherished.

I am a happy, loving boy that gets along with the numerous dogs in my foster home and I do share a home with a fluffy fur friend they call a cat and I just ignore him.  I would be best in a home with older children as I am a very strong boy and I wouldn't want to knock over a young child by accident.  I am house trained, crate trained with no anxiety and I am very calm and quiet in my kennel.  My foster mom says that I am extremely smart, I know how to sit on command as well as I will give very gentle kisses on command and we are working on expanding my list of obedience commands. My favorite daily routine includes playing with toys... soft toys, hard toys, Kong toys and I am hoping my new home has a large box of....you guessed it, TOYS!  

I am a sucker for a good belly rub and I will drop over at a moments notice to receive one.  I love water, I am known to hop in the shower when my foster mom opens the door and for this reason a life jacket will be a must if you own a pool.  I also enjoy playing in the backyard, but I will require a home that has a secure fenced yard as I do not want to ever go back to Animal Control.  I can be mouthy during playtime, but I am gentle and never get carried away during playtime.  I will need daily eye drops to help lubricate my eyes and they are not expensive, close to the cost of a few bags of dog treats.
