Hi, hello, howdy, my name is Harper. I was surrendered by my owner when they just didn't have time for me.  I was underweight and had a horrible case of Demodex mange.  I was just plain neglected. I am very happy to tell you I have gained all my weight back and I have been under the care of a Dermatologist Specialist for my mange and I have grown all my hair back. For you folks who are not aware Demodex mange is not contagious to humans or dogs.
 

My foster mom says I am now ready to look for my forever home and boy oh boy am I excited. I am crate trained without anxiety and I am happy to sleep in my crate at night without making a peep. I am mostly potty trained, but I will occasionally have an accident.  I will easily fit in almost any type of home, but will do best in a home with older children as I am a very active girl who loves to play and I wouldn't want to knock over a young child by accident.  I love the dogs in my foster home and my favorite playmate is a fun loving male French Bulldog because he can really play a good game of Tug O War.  I will require a home with a secure fenced yard because I do love to run and play so for this reason apartment life wouldn't be best for me.  I do have a very happy, outgoing personality and I am definitely a follower and not the leader of the fur friends in my home.  Since I am still a puppy I am currently in the teething stage and I will need plenty of hard chew toys and a watchful eye to make sure I stay out of mischief.  My list of favorites include cuddling, eating and laying in your lap. You should also be aware that I will jump up in your lap without warning. Oh gosh I almost forgot to mention belly rubs, I love those too!  I do get itchy skin from time to time, but foster mom gives me two Benadryl and a high quality grain free food which keeps my itching under control.
