EXTRA, EXTRA, read all about RED!  I was found in the middle of a busy street, car horns honking, cars speeding by and I was petrified!  A nice man stopped and retrieved me out of the street or I would have been a goner. Before I got to SMRS I had something called a seizure, another scary moment!  I visited the Vet man and he figured out all I needed was a tiny little pill to make me all better!  I will require Vet check-ups to monitor my medication levels and of course to get refills. Phenobarbitol is a daily medication to control seizure activity and not expensive. I have met dogs and children on my daily walks and love them all big or small. I am a laid back, well mannered Boston boy who is housebroken, crate trained and I do not jump on people. I would fit in well with in an apartment or a home, but I must request a yard that is very secure. I don't ever want to find myself lost in traffic again. I would do well in a home with an older couple, stay at home mom/dad or someone who works shorter hours. I do well in my crate for 5-6 hours, but would not be a good fit for someone who works long hours. I love to play fetch with my toys, go for car rides, take walks and nap time, but I'm still learning what I am suppose to do with a ball. I love to chew on my Himalyan Dog Chews as they are my favorite and you will be happy to know I am not destructive in anyway. Please fill out an application and we can write our own story!!!
