Evie was bought from a backyard breeder at a flea market. She was taken home and the family decided they could not care for her issues properly. She was very thin, has dry eye and some other routine issues. Other than getting some weight on her she is in pretty good condition. She has really started to come out of her shell and someone with a loving home and patience will be a perfect forever match.

A note from her foster mom: " E vie is a timid girl who is still learning that life outside a cage is great.  She came into foster care emaciated, depressed, and very skittish but is now healthy and growing in confidence.  Evie is super sweet and eager to please.  She’s learning to sit for a treat and a little obedience training will go a long way in boosting her self-confidence.  Evie gets along well with other dogs, not interested in cats, and she loves to play tug-of-war with her 7 pound foster sis.  Evie is crate trained and is also potty trained as long as she’s taken outside on a regular basis.  If you’re looking for a super quiet (except for snoring!), couch potato, love bug then Evie is your girl!"
