Are you looking for a bundle of fun?   Then Dobby is your dog.   He is a playful active little guy who loves everyone.  Dobby has some allergies that reveal themselves as itchy skin and mild GI disease.   He is currently well controlled with an allergy vaccine and a special diet (Purina HA).     His skin does best if he is bathed every 7-10 days.   It will be important to keep him on his diet and allergy vaccine to prevent relapse.   He does seem to be sensitive to  chicken so avoiding any food with chicken in it will be important.   These easy treatments, along with consistent flea control and heartworm prevention, are keeping him happy and healthy and comfortable. 

Dobby is extremely smart.   He is deaf but he is very attentive to his person and he has learned a number of hand signals.    He is accustomed to sleeping in a crate, and we recommend that crate training be continued.    Throw a couple of his treats in there and he zips right in.   Dobby loves to chew!  It will be important to provide him with plenty of chew toys.    He loves  unflavored rawhide chews and these can keep him busy for hours!   And if you want some laughs, take him outside and turn the hose on.  He loves attacking the water.

A note from his foster mom: "This little guy will steal your heart.   He is very loving and is a wonderful companion.  He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing with them.  He does think he should be the top dog though, so he would be best with another young dog that enjoys play."
