Tallulah was surrendered to SMRS when her owners decided they could no longer afford to try to treat her allergies. She has done wonderful on hypoallergenic food and should continue to do great as long as she is on her food. Her ears were very infected, but have also cleared up and need to be cleaned regularly going forward. Tallulah loves to play ball. She does have hip dysplasia. This does not bother her now. In the future she will probably develope arthritis as she ages and need to be on joint supplements.  

Tallulah gets along with other small dogs after she’s had some time to get to know everyone but is preoccupied by cats.  She does not like large dogs and needs an experienced dog owner or to be an only dog. She gets excited by them but has never attempted to catch one and will turn and run if they head her way.  Tallulah is a bundle of snorkly, silly, cuddly sweetness and full of charm!

A word from her foster mom: "This happy, little girl is such a clown and so obedient.  Tallulah is completely housebroken and we’ve discovered she knows the commands “sit”, “drop it”, and “go potty” and is very tolerant of having her ears cleaned and paws examined.  Tallulah loves, loves, loves tennis balls and unstuffing stuffies.  She fetches and plays tug of war with her foster siblings and absolutely loves to go for car rides."
