Pippa was found stray and wondering the streets of Texas. Animal control picked her up, but luckily she was taken to a great shelter that took good care of her. She has some cuts on her lip and ears and was very dirty and had lots of fleas when found.

She has been all fixed up and is ready to find her forever home. Pippa is not great with other dogs. She can tolerate them for short time spans, but needs to be in a home with no other dogs or cats. Since she has not been around kids she will not be placed with children under 8.

Pippa is laid back and loves to play with toys. She enjoys taking frequent potty breaks outside, but does not give a signal when she needs to go out. She learns routines quickly and is a creature of habit. She is crate trained, but she prefers to have the roam of the house. She would be best placed into a home where she would be the apple of your eye and not have to share her people. She is a resource guarder and will become very upset if any dog of any size that gets too close to her food bowl.
