Hambone came to rescue as a breeder release to a local shelter. He is part of the Thanksgiving 6. He has had all his routine vetting and is a young, healthy boy.

He is learning to play. He is doing good with other dogs. He is so obsessed with his ball that he will get protective of his ball. His foster mom is teaching him to play and share toys. He loves to run in the yard and is starting to engage in interaction

 

Hambone is ACTIVE!!! He is young and has lots of energy. He is a sweetheart, but he is super active. He needs exercise and interaction. He loves training and he loves engaging with his people. He needs attention and positive reinforcement. He was a "loner" when he first came to foster care. He wanted to do nothing, but be far away from anyone or anything inside the house. He is coming around daily to want to be more involved. 

He is leash and crate trained and ahs basic obedience, but he needs work on focus and obsessive behaviors. He gets obsessed with his ball or he broom. He will blossom and is blossoming, but he isn't 100% yet. He listens and he wants to be a good boy. He is really just now coming into his own. 

BALL!!!! BALL!!!! BALL!!! HE LOVES HIS BALL. He will play with other toys, but BALL IS LIFE. He loves the sprinkler, the sink faucet and hose. He loves to bite water. He likes adventures and explore new things. He has been enjoying short hikes in the cool weather.

An active, exciting family that wants to work and train him. He is STUBBORN, but he wants to be a good boy and please his people. 

Hambone is sweet and so handsome and compact. He is learning the world he has never known. He is described as a gentle giant as long as a ball isn't involved. He can be so goofy and funny. He jumps like he is a feather. He has big beefy feet that flop around when he runs. He has an underbite that is PERFECT for a bulldog. He runs as hard a he can to get his ball that you throw. We are working on "release". He hikes in the woods like he is a lumberjack. He loves adventure and you can see him starting to figure out life. He needs an active home with children over 12 years old. He can be rough.
