Dream a little dream of me...My name is Sherman and I found myself in a real pickle when I was picked up as a stray and landed in a local shelter.  Team SMRS was contacted and they had a foster home who welcomed me with open arms.  My first stop was to the Veterinarian where I received all my medical care.  I am ready to begin the search for my forever home.

I am a young boy, just 2 yrs and 7 months old, super sweet, playful with just the right amount of goofy.  I am crate trained, with no anxiety, and my potty training is coming right along, you see I am a very smart boy who catches on quickly.  I do have scarring in my left eye which was caused by an old injury, I do have limited vision in that eye, but I am able to see shadows and it does not bother me one bit.  I am an active boy who LOVES to play....with any and all toys and a squeaky toy is one of my favorites.  I have heard that some forever homes have something called a big toy box and I am hoping you have one with my name on it.  I will do best with a secure fenced yard as I mentioned above I was found as a stray, that combined with me being young and curious I will run if given the opportunity. 

Now, on to the important stuff, I am good with dogs, large and small, dog respectful children and I am compatible with cats, in fact I simply ignore them.  I would be perfect for an active single or active family as I do enjoy being part of the daily action. I walk well on a leash and enjoy going on walks and in typical Boston Terrier form, I am a sweet snuggler and enjoy my quiet time with my family.  I do have a sassy side to me though and it only comes out when you tell me no, so a home with previous dog ownership experience would be preferred.
