I was surrendered by my owner due to them moving and I was not allowed to come along. Upon my arrival at SMRS my first stop was to the Veterinarian and it was there I overheard I was something called Heartworm positive. Even though I did not know what that meant I could tell by the look on everyone’s face it was not good news, but now my Heartworm treatment has been completed and I am now on the hunt for my forever home.

Let me tell you a bit about your new best friend....I am an adorable, loving young boy who is good with small to medium sized dogs and I very much enjoy playing with my Frenchie foster sister.  I have plenty of energy to burn during the day and would be happy in a home with someone who has the time to smother me with attention, maybe someone who works from home.  I am crate trained with no anxiety and I am continuing to work on my potty manners, I have much improved, but I will have an accident from time to time.  I am not compatible with cats, but I would be great with children 12 yrs and older.  My days are filled with giving kisses and hugs to my foster Mom and I love to snuggle with her too!  I would adapt well in a home with a fenced yard or apartment life with plenty of daily walks and exercise.  My least favorite thing to do is ride in the car as I do get antsy with anticipation.
