Do you have a sweet tooth?.....Hi my name is Truffles and I was picked up by animal control, my owners never claimed me, but SMRS did and I am now a loved pup!  I have had 2 hernia's repaired, spayed, current on all my vaccines and I have already received my Heartworm treatment and I am ready to find my forever family.  

Breed experience will be important as I am quite the bossy, busy body.  After I am finished keeping track of where everyone is and what they are doing I will happily join you up on the couch for a little shut eye.  I am an active little girl who enjoys chewing on hard toys like Yak Sticks and Buffalo Horns, playing with the resident pups in my foster home and I don't mind the cat, but I have to tell you....someone forgot to tell him he is a cat, he acts just like a dog.

A fenced yard is a must for me as I have an independent side to me and I didn't end up as a stray because I was a homebody.  I am house trained, crate trained, and have a tad of anxiety, but I always settle down quickly. A midday break is appreciated if you are working away from the home.  I do have delicate skin which is sensitive to fleas and grass, so my new family must agree to protect me from fleas by providing flea prevention and high quality grain free food.
