Hi friends....My name is Frannie and I found myself at Animal Control all by myself.  

To say I was a mess was an understatement.  I was full of intestinal worms, my

tail was infected, ears infected and if that wasn't enough I tested positive for 

Heartworms.  I was grateful that SMRS saw value in my life and rescued me and  

I began my journey back to being a healthy Bulldog.  I have received a surgery to

remove my infected tail, my Heartworms have been treated, my ears are clear and

all those intestinal worms are history.

I am crate trained, potty trained, but I will have an occasional accident if you are 

running late returning home.  

My days include laying on the couch with my human, interacting with my fur 

friends including a funny looking friend they call a cat.  I am not a dominant female, 

but I am not afraid of sticking up for myself if a dominant dog bullies me.  I am as 

sweet as Apple pie, loving, mellow and in true Bulldog fashion I am low energy.  

I do require a secure fenced yard and I am known to rush out any open door, 

my new family would need to continue keeping me safe as I do not ever want to 

see the inside of Animal Control again.  I have not been around children in my

foster home and because I do have quite the Bulldog underbite I feel it would be 

good for me to be with older children as my teeth do protrude from my bottom jaw 

and I could unintentionally bump a young child.
