The lovely Hershey is ready to find her forever home. Hershey came to SMRS after her previous family adopted her from a breeder but did not realize all of the issues that can come with one of these experienced ladies. They felt ill-equipped to provide her with what she needed based on their lifestyle.

The only medical issues that Hershey came to us with where needing dental, spay and vaccinations. She also came to foster care with some yeasty ears. This has happened in foster care as well, so her forever family should be on the lookout that her ears might be prone to this recurring.

The good news is Hershey loves children. She has been around toddlers in the form of her human foster siblings and loves them. When it comes to dogs, Hershey is easy going and would do well in a home with or without canine fur siblings. She gets along great with her foster dog siblings and there aren't been any reasons for concern.

Like almost any Frenchie, Hershey is happy just relaxing on the couch or living a life of leisure. Every once in a while she will get a sudden burst of energy and leap off the couch after a toy, a shoe, or a sock. She loves attention from all of her humans and will seek it out. Hershey is fine with a short walk, better yet she really prefers to lead you around the block.

Hershey is crate trained and will go in her crate when needed and has no anxiety. She is very subtle in her requests to go outside, so if you aren't very attentive and miss it then she will find an alternate location to do her business.

Hershey will do well in most homes. She does like to wander outside, so a fenced yard is required for this little lady. She could be an office dog, but she might distract the humans too much from trying to get their work done and wanting all their attention.

Hershey's foster mom had this to say about her: "Hershey has been the most easy-going foster I have ever had. From the moment I picked her up, she stole my heart. She is the most loving and sweet little girl you will ever meet. This soft-hearted girl deserves a family who will treat her like the princess that she is. They are all hard to let go of, but this one is going to be especially tough."

If you're ready to have a little love bug in your life then consider adopting Hershey. She will steal your heart if she hasn't already from reading the bio and seeing her pictures. All you need to do is fill out an application and be ready to pick her up if you are chosen.
