I LOVE my people, oh, YES, I do!!! I could spend the rest of my days just soaking up the love and affection from a couple or single person who has time for me to love them back!!  I'm Tootsie, and you see this isn't my first time being in rescue.  I was adopted out, but I just couldn't get along with their dog all the time.  I think it might be best for me to be an only dog.

Just so you know more about where I came from, and maybe it will help you understand why I want a FUREVER family of my own so bad.  I was saved by an angel on earth who got me from a dog auction who then turned me over to rescue.  Before the dog auction I was used to have puppies, and more puppies, and more puppies.  It wasn't a good life.  

I do have dry eyes and need ointment, and will need to be treated for that along with my allergies.  

I enjoy slow walks through the neighborhood and getting belly rubs and I do an amazing 'Tootsie roll' just for belly rubs.  I am a smart girl and my foster family thinks it would be good for me to be in some obedience classes.  I know some basic commands already, but it is good for me to exercise my body and my mind, don't you agree?  I would need to be in a small class or be one-on-one because of my unpredictable nature around other dogs.  I just have the need to assert my dominance over other dogs.  

Can you work with me, and love me in spite of my imperfections?  I will love you with all my heart and sleep in your bed and encourage you to cuddle more and hit the snooze button every morning!!!  Wanting a second chance - Tootsie
